DC Brands International Hires New Director of Colorado Sales

DC Brands International (PINKSHEETS: DCBI) announces the recent hire of Melanie Powell to the team. Powell's vast experience and substantial contacts throughout the beverage industry provided a natural fit for her position as Director of Colorado Sales. In her new role, Powell's responsibilities include expanding DC Brands' product reach throughout the state; training salespeople; coordinating meetings with retailers to discuss advertising and promotions; and working closely with distributors to ensure all current accounts are being properly taken care of and maintained.

Prior to joining DC Brands, Powell served as an account executive at Custom Logistics, a local beverage distributor, where she set up new accounts and organized various promotions.

An entrepreneur as well, Powell launched and later sold a highly successful dog walking and pet sitting business after deciding her true calling was in the beverage industry. She attended Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and double majored in marketing and business administration. In her free time, Powell enjoys going to Denver Broncos games, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
