DepotPoint Secures $4 Million in Series B Funding From Trident Capital

Creator of ForeclosurePoint.com and TrackPoint Default Management Solution Strengthens Its Market Position With Resources From a Leading Venture Capital Firm

DepotPoint (www.depotpoint.com), a company that is changing the landscape of processing foreclosures, today announced that it has secured $4 million in Series B investment. The investment was completed with Palo Alto-based venture capital and private equity firm Trident Capital (www.tridentcap.com), which specializes in investments in software- and technology-enabled business services. DepotPoint also announced the addition of Venetia Kontogouris, Managing Director at Trident Capital, to its board of directors.

"DepotPoint is rapidly emerging as a leading provider of Web-based solutions for increasing efficiencies in the growing foreclosure market," said Venetia Kontogouris, Managing Director, Trident Capital. "The company's proven successes and expert executive team demonstrate a keen differentiation that aligns well with our interest in backing the most promising companies within vertical technology services. Trident Capital's financial support is a strong validation of the company's superior solutions and outstanding potential."

The company will employ the funds to continue to enhance and expand the reach of its existing solutions: TrackPoint Application Suite, which is comprised of an innovative Lien Monitoring Solution and the industry's first Audit Ready Default Management work-flow application, for efficiently processing foreclosures; and ForeclosurePoint.com, a marketplace solution that provides tool and resources for real estate investors and home buyers to assist in the acquisition of foreclosure properties.

"We are very pleased to receive financing from one of the premier venture firms in the country, and particularly excited about the addition of Venetia Kontogouris, who brings a significant track record of helping build successful business services companies, to our board," said Prakash Kondepudi, CEO of DepotPoint. "This strategic investment comes at a time when demand for our workflow and marketplace applications has increased exponentially, and will enable us to rapidly expand availability of these solutions in various real estate and mortgage servicing markets."
