NewMarket Technology, Inc. Latin America Business Operations With $30 Million in Profitable Revenue Forecasted for 2007 Featured in Latin Business Chronicle
Article Highlights High-Growth Latin American Operations and Upcoming July 2007 "Project LAC" Small Business Development Trade Mission With USAID
NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: NMKT) CEO
Philip Verges was interviewed last week by the Latin Business Chronicle.
NewMarket recently announced the completion of a transaction with Paragon
Financial Corp. (PINKSHEETS: PGNF) to effectively list NewMarket's Latin
America subsidiary. NewMarket management announced yesterday during the
company's Webcast that Paragon's name has officially been changed to
NewMarket Latin America, Inc. and a corresponding ticker symbol change will
follow in the coming weeks.
The article discusses NewMarket's high-growth potential in Latin American
markets and planned expansion into Mexico. Mr. Verges highlighted the
tremendous organic growth NewMarket has experienced through its Latin
America operations, "We have more organic growth opportunities in South
America than China to date." NewMarket's Latin American operations have
grown rapidly to an expected $20 million in profitable annual revenue for
2006, and the company projects $30 million in revenue for 2007.

"Project LAC" July 2007 Trade Mission to Latin America
NewMarket Technology was selected to implement "Project LAC" from a
competitive group of applicants based on the company's own successful
growth in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region. NewMarket
initially entered the LAC region in 2004 to bring emerging technologies to
emerging markets.
The purpose of "Project LAC" is to enhance small U.S. technology company
involvement in the LAC region. The project is funded by United States
Agency for International Development (USAID), supported by the dot-ORG
program and implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED)
and NewMarket Technology.
Any small U.S.-based technology company may apply, and up to ten companies
will be selected to participate in the project. The chosen companies will
receive information and guidance on how to expand their businesses into LAC
markets, particularly underserved areas, as well as an opportunity to
develop initial business opportunities through a Trade Mission to Latin
America in July 2007.
A copy of the RFA and further project information for companies interested
in participating in the project are available on the project website at
www.projectLAC.com.
