Leisure Direct Appoints Vice President of Business Development
Leisure Direct, Inc. (OTCBB: LDTI) announced
today that it has appointed David Clark as its Vice President of Business
Development. Mr. Clark has more than 25 years of experience in planning,
launching and growing businesses with both large public companies and
entrepreneurial ventures. He has proven international expertise in
strategic planning, business and product development, sales and marketing,
and strategic alliances with several companies including Mellon Bank, Ernst
& Young, and Hogan Systems. As CEO of an early stage venture, he received
the Growth 100 Award from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana
University.
Recently, Mr. Clark has served as a consultant to Leisure Direct to
identify and qualify acquisition candidates. He will work closely with
Robert Dapper, Leisure Direct's newly appointed President, to implement the
Company's business plan. Leisure Direct's business plan includes acquiring
or opening 50 to 60 locations over the next three to five years, with 10 to
15 of them being consummated in 2007. Leisure Direct will announce, over
the next few days and weeks, the opening of its first location and its
first dealer acquisitions.
