Prom & Pageant Expositions Launches Largest and Only Nationally Touring Expo in the US Aimed at Teens
Capitalizing on the
multi-billion-dollar-a-year prom industry and the $209 billion that teens
spend annually (according to Alloy Media & Marketing), Prom and Pageant
Expositions is creating the largest and most innovative direct selling and
experiential marketing opportunity for the teen market in the United
States. Beginning in January 2008, teens will be able to experience their
own unique event where they will be completely immersed in the products and
services that they will need to get ready for their prom, quinceañera,
sweet sixteen, bat mitzvah, cotillion or for their life in general. The
events will take place in six major US cities (San Francisco, Los Angeles,
Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and New York), bringing some of the biggest and
best consumer companies together in one place.
"It's not just about the dress and the shoes anymore. It's about a total
lifestyle, and we have created an event where teens can experience all of
the products and services that they need not only for the prom, but as they
become young adults. We're giving teens a place where they can touch and
feel all of the brand categories and messages that are important to them,

non-profit and volunteer organizations where they can give back to causes
that are important to them. Teens will be able to customize the event,
voting beforehand on some of the key parts of the program, such as which
recording artist they want to perform at their expo. Our online
newsletters and blogs will be written by teens. The event is in large part
for teens by teens. Our overall goal is to empower, engage and entertain

Teens will be able to make their purchases and orders on site. There will
be celebrity guests, musical performances from national recording artists,
fashion shows, contests and prizes, shopping sprees, and seven how-to
sessions about everything from hair and make-up to prom safety and
financial planning. Teens will find everything they need to make their
prom as well as long-term dreams complete at the expos and year-round on
the Prom & Pageant Expo state-of the-art web site to be launched in mid
August of 2007. Each attendee will walk away with samples of products and
will constantly be surrounded by national brands online and in an expo area
that will be the ultimate showcase of their lifestyle.
