America Gets to Decide on Their Favorite "'The King of Queens' Viewers Choice" Episodes on Yahoo! TV

Online Voting Promotion Includes Grand Prize of a $4,500 Shopping Spree From Online Retailer Newegg.com

For the first time ever, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) -- with the help of the 208 affiliates in 98% of the country carrying the highly-rated sitcom in syndication -- will ask fans to vote for their favorite "'The King of Queens' Viewers Choice" episodes and have their selections subsequently air in national syndication during the May sweep.

Beginning Monday, April 16, through Friday, April 27, "'The King of Queens' Viewers Choice" episodes will be posted on Yahoo! TV (http://tv.yahoo.com). For reference, twelve of the most popular episodes from the past eight seasons, along with brief descriptions and clips, will be displayed to make the process of voting more entertaining. In addition, "The King of Queens" stations' websites will be directly connected with the SPT's www.thekingofqueens.com site, giving voters yet another method to cast their ballot. On Monday, April 30, at the conclusion of the internet polling from all internet sources, the votes from each venue will be tabulated, and the "top five" list will be created.

Viewers will also have a chance to "see where it all began" when stations across the country broadcast the pilot episode on May 14, the same day as the nine-year network series finale broadcasts on CBS.

SPT president John Weiser says, "'The King of Queens' has been enormously successful for us and our station partners since its syndication debut in September 2003. We wanted to create a powerful and unique May sweep promotion that supports the highly successful syndication run of 'The King of Queens' as well as the network series finale on May 14 on CBS. Airing the pilot on the same day as the network finale will also remind audiences that, beginning in September, the only place you can see 'The King of Queens' will be in syndication."

The votes will determine which five most adored shows of "The King of Queens" will air during the primary run in syndication the week of May 7, leading into the hour-long network series finale, which airs on CBS from 9:00 - 10:00 PM on Monday, May 14.

A random prize drawing from all of the online entrants will include a grand prize package from online consumer electronics retailer, Newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com), that provides a $4,500 shopping spree, plus a "The King of Queens" fan package that includes a "King of Queens" hat, T-Shirt and mug. Throughout the voting period, voters will also be eligible daily to win a "King of Queens" fan package.

"The King of Queens" debuted on the CBS network on September 22, 1998, and has continued its successful nine-year run of 213 episodes. The show made its syndication debut on September 15, 2003, and is currently the third highest-rated sitcom in syndication behind "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Seinfeld." It is also the longest running live action comedy currently airing original episodes on network television, and among only 2% of comedies which have reached over 200 episodes.

"The King of Queens," currently in its ninth and final season and the longest running American live action sitcom on the air, revolves around Doug and Carrie Heffernan (Kevin James & Leah Remini), a loving blue-collar couple from Queens, N.Y., who share their humble home with her eccentric father, Arthur (Jerry Stiller). When Doug is not working, clashing with Arthur, or nesting with Carrie, he hangs with his advice-giving buddies Deacon Palmer (Victor Williams), Spence Olchin (Patton Oswalt), and his cousin Danny Heffernan (Gary Valentine).

-    "Strike Too" - Doug takes a job as a substitute teacher at his sister
Stephanie's school during an IPS strike, thinking it will be a piece of
cake until the kids start terrorizing him.  Meanwhile, Carrie does extra
work, not realizing is for a pro bono case and she won't be paid any
overtime. Ricki Lake guest stars as Stephanie.
-    "Wedding Presence" - Carrie, Doug, Deacon and Kelly are invited to
their friend's wedding in Maryland and Carrie and Doug don't want to go.
They dream up a scheme to make it appear as if they were there and all they
need is the help of Deacon and Kelly. When the Palmers cancel attending at
the last minute, their plan takes a turn for the worse as they try to find
someone else to fake their attendance.
-    "Hi-Def Jam" - Super Bowl Sunday is fast approaching and Doug is
looking forward to viewing the game on his "big 55" TV --that is, until he
gets a glimpse of Hi Definition TV.  He is obsessed and when he learns that
Carrie's boss has a Hi-Def TV, he vows to find a way to get himself and his
buddies invited over even if it means selling out his sister, Stephanie.
Ricki Lake and Lou Ferrigno guest star.
-    "Walk, Man" - Doug and Carrie decide to try again to make a baby but
are finding it challenging with Arthur always under foot. Doug thinks he's
found the answer by hiring a professional dog walker, Holly, to spend time
with Arthur so that he and Carrie can have some privacy.  Sadly, it all
goes awry when Arthur finds out and is incensed.
-    "Friender Bender" - When Doug rear-ends Kelly and Deacon's car, he and
Carrie insist that they personally pay for the damage to avoid an insurance
claim. When the Palmers are hit with a $1,200 estimate, the two couples end
up arguing over each other's cheap stingy ways.  Meanwhile, Spence babysits
Kirby and goes from being the "Spencinator" to the "Scaredinator" once
Kirby finds out that he is allergic to peanuts.
-    "Mean Streak" - As Doug is about to break what was once thought of as
an unbeatable record, the tension between he and the guys at IPS mounts.
For 18 years, Iggy Stenkowski's record of nine hundred and fifty-one
perfect delivery days has remained intact, and the guys resent Doug as he's
about to beat it and replace the legendary Iggy's plaque with one of his
own. As he deals with his internal conflict, Carrie has trouble dealing
with the fact that Holly, the dog walker, actually enjoys spending time
with Arthur. She starts to wonder if her father really is as great as Holly
thinks he is and that maybe she's the problem in their relationship.
-    "Oxy Moron" - As Doug and Carrie's plane makes an unexpectedly rough
landing, Doug takes the only available oxygen mask for himself and doesn't
think twice about Carrie. He is shocked to hear that she is hurt that he
would think of himself first.  Later, he feels guilty for what he did and
tries to prove to her that if her life were in danger, he would save her.
Meanwhile, Spence needs to find a new place to live and ends up moving in
with Danny Heffernan after things with the hot Brazilian exchange student
don't go as he'd hoped.
-    "Lyin Hearted" - As Arthur prepares to undergo heart surgery, Carrie
discovers something that he did years ago that drastically affected her
life. Meanwhile, Doug makes friends with a quirky stranger in the hospital
and soon regrets it.
-    "Life Sentence" - Arthur's recent health scare causes Carrie to think
they should have life insurance so she can be sure Arthur is well taken
care of should something happen to either one of them. Doug had never
thought about having to take care of Arthur if Carrie weren't around, and
when he finds out that Carrie has started smoking again, he's convinced
that she's trying to die first so that he gets stuck with Arthur. They both
lose sight of why they're signing the insurance forms and Arthur has to
snap them back into reality. Doug and Carrie install an "Arthur cam" to
monitor him during his recovery in the basement. Before they know it,
Deacon, Spence, and Danny get a real kick out of watching Arthur's mundane

daily activity and find themselves addicted to Arthur TV.
-    "Ovary Action" - Carrie and Doug decide it's time to start trying for
a baby again. When the timing is right and Carrie is ovulating, Doug's
parents arrive for their holiday visit, making privacy a little more
difficult. In the meantime, Doug's dad upsets Arthur when he starts moving
in on Arthur's quality time with Holly, Arthur's "dog walking friend."
-     "Food Fight" - Carrie gets jealous when Doug's attention is focused
on Spence's new girlfriend, Becky, a professional chef. It's not her looks.
It's not her personality. It's her food! Doug can't get enough and Becky
comes to rely on Doug to sample all of her new recipes. Carrie, feeling
left out, finally reaches the end of her rope and demands that Doug stop
his "food affair" with Becky.
-    "Lush Life" - Carrie starts Doug on another new diet which makes him
miserable. When Carrie starts the new routine of getting a drink with the
girls every night after work, Doug realizes there are real benefits to be
had by her "relaxed" demeanor following a little imbibing. Unfortunately, a
falling out with the girls ends the ritual, and in a panic, Doug starts to
provide his own bar service to Carrie every night in the hopes that the new
"happy Carrie who doesn't care if he's on a diet" sticks around a little
longer. Arthur also realizes this is a good thing and does his part to keep
the drinks coming. Until Carrie finds out. Lou Ferrigno guest stars.
