Lawsuit Filed Over Inmates Exposing Themselves to Female Cops

A group of female correctional officers represented by Gloria Allred filed a lawsuit against a correctional institution. They allege the correctional facility made no effort to subdue and punish the juvenile inmates that were exposing themselves and touching the female's buttocks.

Officer Pete Bollinger takes a "politically incorrect" stand on the topic, saying most correctional institutions are no place for a woman. The institutions often hire employees without making background checks to see if they are able to deal with difficult situations in tough places.

Law enforcement officials will see and hear some terrible things. Prospective employees need to understand if, psychologically, they will be offended.

Officer Bollinger says "Police Officers rarely report the repulsive acts or violence against them; if they did they wouldn't be able to do their jobs as the bullies would seize control and win!"

Bollinger contends that generally, law enforcement is not the right career for ladies, especially in most large correctional institutions. He feels so strongly about this subject that he wrote a book on it, titled, "How to Get Fired in Law Enforcement and Fire."

Pete Bollinger first became interested in law enforcement while serving in the United States Air Force, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. While in the military, he obtained A.A. Degrees in Industrial Security from the College of the Air Force and Criminal Justice from Devils Lake College in North Dakota. After honorable discharge, Mr. Bollinger continued his education, obtaining a B.S. Degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and a Masters Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix.

Bollinger is a Police Officer with the Santa Ana Police Department, working a variety of assignments since 1988. He served in an undercover capacity, both purchasing and selling narcotics, in vice programs, with prostitutes, transvestites and the dregs of society.

Book Co-author, "Officer Steve" from the Bike Safety Program started in law enforcement in 1981. He has been working as a background investigator for nine years hiring over 1,000 police and firefighter employees.

The authors have over four decades of collective experience in law enforcement, and created the most comprehensive book in existence, on the realities of getting hired in public safety, "How to Get Hired in Law Enforcement and Fire."
