Security With Advanced Technology Gives First Public Demonstration of VT-MKIV Non-Lethal Launcher
SWAT's New VT-MK IV Non-Lethal Police/Military Projectile Launcher Makes a Big Splash at the ValueRich Small-Cap Financial Expo in Miami

Security With Advanced Technology, Inc.
(NASDAQ: SWAT) (NASDAQ: SWATW), a leading provider of security products and
services, announced that it demonstrated its VT-MKIV & VT-MK1, new
non-lethal projectile launchers designed primarily for use by military and
law enforcement, during its presentation at the ValueRich Conference in
Miami.
Developed by Veritas Tactical, a division of SWAT, these launchers,
propelled by compressed air or nitrogen, shoot a synthetic pepper-based
projectile which breaks upon impact and has a debilitating effect on
subjects. This powder substance is significantly stronger than the effect
of pepper spray. The VT-MKIV gives users the ability to deliver non-lethal
rounds accurately from distances up to 100 meters, providing military and
law enforcement officers a tactical advantage in many control scenarios.
"We are experiencing significant interest in the VT-MKIV, from law
enforcement and military groups, nationally and internationally," stated
Scott Sutton, President and CEO of SWAT. "We have received numerous
requests for test & evaluation units and are anticipating significant sales
in the U.S. market as well as internationally in the coming months. The
benefit of non-lethal high quality launchers like the VT-MKIV is continuing
to grow and have been established by patrol officers, SWAT teams, detention
officers, and even wildlife officers; they have expressed that these
products are needed on a daily basis to help manage the situations they
face. We believe the market and applications for our non-lethal products
will grow dramatically as we provide new and innovative solutions for
people and agencies wishing to manage and control compliance situations
without resorting to lethal force."
The new VT-MK series represents the first of several non-lethal projectile
launchers designed specifically for the law enforcement and military
markets. The new product incorporates features conceived by an advisory
board consisting of military and law enforcement trainers, SWAT officers,
police officers, as well as the Company's own development team. The VT-
MKIV is magazine fed, can be fit with many off-the-shelf tactical
accessories, and is mission adaptable for uses ranging from single-officer
confrontations to large scale riot control. SWAT expects to begin selling
its first production units in May 2007.
SWAT also expects to launch Avurt's new laser aimed compact five-shot
device which shoots an irritant filled projectile capable of disabling an
attacker or suspect at a distance of 50 feet. The difference between the
new Avurt launcher and products currently selling in the market is
dramatic, including laser aimed sighting, more potent irritant, accurate at
50 feet and multi-shot rounds. Its patent pending technology utilizes
several unique design features greatly increasing the reliability and
durability compared to the launchers currently in use.
"We've eliminated the use of gaskets and 'O' rings, both frequent causes of
failures in current designs, while creating a unique nitrogen-based
propellant system for reliability," said Michael Cox, Avurt's Vice
President of Engineering. "Our design goals included a long list of
stringent specifications which had to be incorporated in a small and
compact size. These demands as well as the size constraints took us to a
ground-up engineering process. We know that the reliability of the product
is critical so that when the user fires our product it works, and works
well."
The device accurately fires a projectile at a distance of up to 50 feet
that breaks on impact dispersing a cloud of potent pepper-based powder.
This powder is ten times more powerful than aerosol pepper spray causing a
severe debilitating reaction in the target area and is an organic
non-lethal substance, which is highly effective on both humans and animals.
Following requests from current agency customers and significant interest
by consumers, the Avurt launcher was developed after extensive customer and
focus group surveys and is designed to be sold to federal and state
agencies, security guard organizations, delivery service personnel, animal
control officers as well as individual consumers. Initial inquiries also
indicate a potential market opportunity to international customers.
A webcast of the presentation and demonstration from the ValueRich
Small-Cap Expo is available at

interviewed live on radio and TV while at the conference.
