Conservatives Fleeing GOP
By Basil Harrington
As the liberal / globalist stranglehold over the GOP strengthens, more and more conservatives are considering leaving the GOP.
A poll at CPAC found the overwhelming majority of conservatives displeased with the leadership of the Republican Party, and most conservatives scowl at the thought of having to vote for Rudolph Giuliani, John McCain or Mitt Romney.
Fred Thompson considers tossing in his hat. Although better than Giuliani, McCain or Romney, which is not saying very much, he is not a strong conservative candidate. By and large, Thompson is a globalist neocon, and Americans for Better Immigration only gives him a career grade of C.*
Following CPAC, a group of conservatives formed the Conservative Exodus Project, which is a vehicle for conservatives to leave the GOP if a real conservative presidential candidate is not chosen in 2008.** Members pledge either not to vote, or to vote third party (e.g. Constitution Party).
The #1 issue for all conservatives is, or should be, immigration. We are at a watershed moment. The third-world hordes are invading the West, and we must ask ourselves: are we going to fight back? The Treason Lobby in corporate America and in the Democrat and Republican Parties has sold out America for cheap votes and cheap labor.
As Jean Raspail noted in Camp of the Saints, the "greatest conservative novel ever written," have Westerners become so brainwashed by political correctness that they are unwilling to fight for their own survival?
We need to rally round some real patriots now - before it is too late.
