Wood Group Power Operations Awarded Four Operation and Maintenance Contracts From LS Power

Wood Group Power Operations, Incorporated ("WGPO"), part of the Gas Turbine Services Division of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC (LSE: WG) ("Wood Group"), has been awarded four six-year contracts, valued at a combined $55 million, from LS Power Acquisition Co I, LLC ("LS Power"), a member of the LS Power Group, for the operation and maintenance ("O&M") of power generation facilities to be acquired by LS Power from Mirant Americas, Incorporated.

The contracts awarded are for the O&M of the 903-megawatt (MW) Zeeland facility, the 561 MW Sugar Creek facility, the 546 MW Bosque facility and the 527 MW Apex facility, all consisting of advanced technology General Electric Frame 7FA heavy industrial gas turbines operating in both simple and combined cycle configurations.

LS Power has a fast-track schedule and underwent a highly competitive O&M service provider selection process.
