Wedge Energy International Inc. Announces Litigation
ORLEANS, ONTARIO - (CCNMatthews - March 16, 2007) - Wedge Energy International Inc. announced today that William Boberg had commenced a legal proceeding in Ontario against Wedge Energy Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Corporation, and one of its directors and officers, Robin Dow. Mr. Boberg is seeking an order that the defendants issue to Mr. Boberg 500,000 shares of Wedge Energy Inc. for a minimal consideration. Mr. Boberg claims that he told Mr. Dow that the Western Cordilleran Overthrust Belt still had some potentially exciting exploration opportunities and then some time later introduced Mr. Dow to Dr. Peter Jones and Dr. Judith Lentin. Mr. Boberg claims that he is thereby entitled to participate as a founder of Wedge Energy Inc. Both Wedge Energy Inc. and Mr. Dow consider that Mr. Boberg's allegations are without basis in fact. They have been advised that the claims are unfounded in law. Mr. Boberg's action will be vigorously defended.
