telent To Debut At CeBIT 2007
14 March 2007 - telent plc (LSE: TLNT) is bringing its portfolio of advanced technology services to CeBIT 2007 for the first time this week. The portfolio, which is designed to provide managed communications services to the enterprise and telecommunications sectors, will be on display at the telent stand (no C05, Hall 12), at CeBIT, in Hannover, Germany, between 15-21 March.
Visitors to the telent stand will be able to see for the first time a live demonstration of the ground-breaking Management and Customer information system, MICA (Management Integration and Control of Assets). The system, designed to support railway communications, optimises network maintenance and enables the efficient management of large scale communications systems through sophisticated control and monitoring.
"As one of the largest European IT and communications events, CeBIT will provide the perfect platform for telent to display its service portfolio," said Robert Blum, Director of Business Support at telent GmBH. "We are dedicated to providing excellent service solutions, which are tailored to suit the needs of various businesses and look forward to demonstrating our capabilities at CeBIT 2007."
Also on display will be the company's Network Migration solutions, which are designed to upgrade mission critical networks using IP routers and switches to provide a more versatile end solution. telent's capabilities in integration and wireless solutions will be further demonstrated through its Integrated Radio Solutions, which improve mobility and deliver greater flexibility to operating companies.
telent has many years' proven success in system integration, with customers in a range of industries, including government, emergency services, rail and major enterprise. The company's experience includes the extension of the communications network for the German Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV), a five-year contract from the Highways Agency for the maintenance management, renewal and improvement of roadside communications networks in the North-West of England, and a contract to upgrade the mission critical communications network for E.ON Netz GmbH, one of the world's largest energy service providers.
