AmikaNow! Team Launching Amika Mobile

  Share With Friends

AmikaNow! a pioneer in automatic email analysis for mobile users, announces the launch of Amika Mobile(TM) effective immediately. Amika Mobile will focus on next generation products that address the need for smarter, simpler mobile messaging.

According to the Radicati Group, 214 billion emails are exchanged worldwide daily and the demand for mobile messaging is growing at 103% annually. IDC has reported that 1 billion mobile phones were shipped in 2006 while Radicati reports that 28 Million PDAs were sold in the same period. Amika Mobile combines the ubiquity of mobile devices with mobile messaging to enable new high value services focused at saving time and money for the enterprise Prosumer- those end users who combine professional with consumer interests on their mobile device.

"Mobile messaging has tremendous growth potential on the 1 Billion phones sold last year if the needs of emerging prosumers can be better met. Users on the go do not want to receive the 200 emails in their desktop Inbox on their mobile phone. However, they would love to receive the 1 or 2 critical messages they need. Today mobile phone users cannot effectively do this and, many simply opt out of getting email altogether", notes Amika Mobile CEO Sue Abu-Hakima.

Amika Mobile has rapidly developed a strong software team and is now entering customer trials. Amika Mobile products are independent of the mobile device, the underlying messaging platforms and the Mobile service provider. Amika Mobile will market its products through partnerships with Network and Messaging platform vendors and System Integrators targeting the enterprise.
