Jerry C. Olson Appointed to Board of Directors of Riverview

VANCOUVER, Wash., March 5, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Riverview Bancorp, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jerry C. Olson, President and CEO of Olson Engineering Inc., to the Board of Directors for Riverview Community Bank and Riverview Bancorp.

A graduate of Oregon State University with a Masters in Forest Management, Mr. Olson holds many professional designations including Professional Engineer, Professional Land Surveyor and Certified Forester.

Mr. Olson is actively involved in many local and regional business and community organizations and has served on the Board for numerous organizations including the Washington State Department of Natural Resources, Columbia River Economic Development Council, Building Industry Association of SW Washington, and the Commercial Real Estate Economic Coalition. He was a recipient of the State and Local Government Affairs Recognition Award from the National Association of Home Builders and was named "Pillar of Economic Development for the Last 20 Years" by the Columbia River Economic Development Council.
