Crossfire War – Iran Establishes Military Liaison With Turkey

Crossfire War – TEHRAN – ANKARA – DAMASCUS WATCH – Southeast Europe – West Asia Theatre: Tehran – Damascus – Ankara – Belgrade/Vienna – Brussels – Warsaw; Retired Iranian General Asqhari “Disappears” in Istanbul – Command Level Liaison Officer – Syria – Turkish Military

Night Watch: ISTANBUL – AKI reports that the retired Iranian General Alireza Asqhari has been missing since checking into the Hotel Ghilan in Istanbul. He is a former general of the Iran Revolutionary Guards (Pasdaran) and was Deputy Defense Minister under President Mohammad Khatami, 1997-2005. According to the website, Baztab, connected to the Pasdaran, Asqhari may have been kidnapped. [AKI]

However, the Revolutionary Guards are not going to tell you the truth. There are some accurate hints in the article from the Turkish Daily News that Baztab has been linked to. The article said on February 6, two foreign, non-Turkish citizens, made a reservation for recently retired General Ali Rizari Asqhari, 63, for three nights at the Istanbul Ceylan Hotel paying cash. Asqhari arrived in Istanbul from Damascus the next day and immediately disappeared. He has not been seen since. The Turkish Foreign Ministry has made no comment but they did issue this statement, “It is very sensitive, intelligence services matter and the Interior Ministry are dealing with the issue.” [BAZTAB]

A high-level police official did state, “We are trying to find out whether he left or was taken. Interpol has issued a yellow bulletin in accordance with the requests by Iranian officials. The lost Iranian man is someone who worked in sensitive jobs in Iran. Whether he was involved in nuclear activities is being looked into. But it is clear that since he arrived in Istanbul via Damascus he must have had a very important appointment.”

I suspect Asqhari’s appointment was with the highest level of Turkey’s military – industrial establishment, Turkey’s command level. Tehran is making a diplomatic effort to find him is just a cover for his real mission-liaison officer between Iran and Turkey’s military. His meeting in Damascus was no doubt the same. This is similar to the Reuters announcement in late 2000’s that Iran-Turkey were comparing intelligence information but they would not say about where. In February 2001 the fighting began in Macedonia started by Albanians, who are mostly Islamic.

The fighting was designed to lure NATO-Brussels deeper into the Balkans in order to take advantage of the disastrous mistake the West made when it encouraged and recognized the divided Yugoslavia as six new independent states in constant war, conflict or near conflict with each other. Brussels, eagerly committing NATO forces to this theatre, has put them completely out of position, less effective in the Mediterranean and non-existent on the deciding front, the Caucasus – Caspian region.

General Asqhari’s departure coincides with Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf’s recent nine-nation tour of Islamic capitals and when he visited Tehran, Feb. 5, he presented Iran’s government with his “Action Plan”- offensive warfare against India. This Friday, March 2, the Pasdaran should complete their nine days of maneuvers in Iran’s Baluchistan province just 450 miles from India’s border. Tehran is right now establishing all of their liaison contacts with governments and militaries Iran will working with, their Axis, from Belgrade to Pakistan. It was in January last year when Tehran signed a security agreement with Belgrade, as did Athens did in November.

World War III becomes (f)allout this year. Fortunately, not all bombs and missiles are going to work. Some will miss and some others will be duds. Nothing works as well as advertised; guidance systems can easily become misguided. Even an ordinary conventional bomb or shell can be a dud; it can also miss, whether it is old or new. Malfunction is not a strange phenomenon. Some of the equipment and technology will work and some places, the West-India, will be hit harder than others will, but there is no nuclear winter to be concerned about.
