("Cristal") in its $1.2 billion acquisition of Lyondell Chemical Company's Millennium Inorganic Chemicals business, which was announced today. The Millennium Inorganic Chemicals business is the world's second largest producer of titanium dioxide, with manufacturing locations in Australia, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

With major offices in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, Cristal is the only producer of titanium dioxide in the Middle East and North Africa and exports its products to more than 70 countries.
