Pictures From Falcon Studios, Hot House Video, Lucas Entertainment, in Three-Way Tie for Most Nominations for 2007 GAYVN Awards
"The Velvet Mafia," "Justice" and "La Dolce Vita" All Have 12 Nominations; Annual Event Honoring Gay Entertainers, Productions That Contribute to Advancement of Gay Entertainment
Falcon Studios' "The Velvet Mafia," Hot
House Video's "Justice," and Lucas Entertainment's "La Dolce Vita" are in a
three-way tie for the most nominations for this year's GAYVN Awards Show,
scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco.
Close on their heels is Buckshot Productions' "Big Rig," with 11
nominations.
Individuals receiving multiple nominations for the gay adult entertainment
industry's biggest night of the year include Francesco D' Macho and
newcomer Danny Roddick, both of whom will also serve as presenters.
"The hot topic in the gay adult community is, 'Which studio will collect
the most accolades' this year," says Chad Beecher, Vice President Business
Relations, AVN Media network. "Across the board, production values are up
and all the studios are achieving new levels of artistic excellence."
Award-winning director and producer Gino Colbert will be on hand to present
the 2007 GAYVN Hall of Fame inductees. Other notable industry luminaries in
attendance will include Colby Taylor, Spencer Quest, Michael Lucas, Kent
North and Gus Mattox.
The GAYVN Awards, which recognize the movies and individuals that have
contributed to the advancement of the gay adult entertainment industry,
have a broad-based, nation-wide panel of judges. Operated by AVN Media
