SearchGold Welcomes Roy Corrans as Special Advisor to the Board of Directors

SearchGold Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: RSG)(FRANKFURT: S1O) is pleased to announce that Mr. Roy Corrans has agreed to become Special Advisor to the Board of Directors of the Company.
Mr. Corrans will assist SearchGold with strategic advice for project and corporate developments as well as with project financing.

Mr. Corrans has over 36 years of experience in base metals, precious metals, uranium and industrial minerals exploration, evaluation and mining across Africa gained with the major international mining group, Anglo American. From 1987 to end 2001, while with them, he held the positions of General Manager Exploration / Consulting Geologist and Senior Vice President Exploration. He has since worked as a consultant and added to his extensive international work experience in Africa, North America, Australasia, Europe and the Far East. Perhaps most notably, Mr. Corrans was responsible for the discovery of the Epoch nickel deposit (Zimbabwe) as well as the Skorpion oxide zinc deposit (Namibia).
Mr. Corrans is currently Chairman and Director of African Copper PLC whose main asset is the Dukwe copper project in Botswana. A director of several small companies with mineral interests registered in Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia and South Africa, Mr. Corrans is a registered Professional Natural Scientist, a Fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists.
