Texada Software Announces Results for the Fourth Quarter of 2006

Texada Software Inc., ("Texada") (TSX VENTURE: TXS), announces today its interim unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2006.

The Company generated total revenues of $1,004,920 for the three-month period ending December 31, 2006 resulting in an operating income / (loss) before amortization, interest expense, foreign exchange, stock based compensation expense, severance expense and income taxes of ($254,800). These results compared to total revenues of $1,103,825 and an operating income / (loss) before amortization, interest expense, foreign exchange, stock based compensation expense, severance expense and income taxes of $15,606 for the same period in 2005.

In late 2005, the company announced a substantial increase in R & D expenditures to invest in its core products. This increased investment in R&D accounted for all the operating loss for the quarter. The company expects a higher level of R & D spending to continue for the next several quarters. The Company's financial results are presented below:
