Crossfire War - Tehran - Muscat Watch - Persian Gulf - Sea of Oman Theatre: Tehran - Muscat - Doha - Riyadh/London - Washington; Iran Begins Specialized Warfare - Missile Maneuvers in Persian Gulf - Sea of Oman - Two Days
Night Watch: BANDAR ABBAS - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have begun two days of missile units war games of their air and naval forces in the central and southern Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman. Missile interception and test firings will be conducted. This is a direct follow up of the series of war games Iran conducted almost all of last year and now comes at a time when both the U. S. and Iran are openly discussing the possibility of going to war directly instead of just competing for influence in different countries and regions. [

With Moscow preparing to respond to Tehran's north against Tbilisi-Baku and with fighting about to resume in the Balkans over Kosovo and with Iran massing units on Iraq's border, (f)allout war is not far off. I suspect Tehran wants it to begin as the Balkans erupt then have more attacks against the occupying forces in Iraq as London-Washington, the lost alliance, frantically withdraw. I will be surprised if this month passes without a serious escalation in the war on at least one front. What would make it especially hard on the Allies is if heavy fighting begins also in South Asia. With so many commitments on other fronts, the Allies would have no opportunity to do anything to assist India except perhaps in some naval action to maintain the security of international shipping in the Indian Ocean-Arabian Sea.
