Compro Technologies Acquires Rubix Calling Card, Tandem LD, And Wholesale Telecom Applications

Leading Developer Acquires Applications and Customer Base

Compro Technologies of Forked River, N.J., a leading provider of telecommunications applications and platforms, today announced that it has acquired the Rubix SmartCard Prepaid Calling Card, SmartLongDistance Wholesale, and SmartTandem Long Distance applications, and it will be supporting all existing customers of those solutions moving forward. In addition, both companies have established a global partnership to work together on other projects. Founded in 1992, Compro has approximately 30 service provider customers and is a leader in revenue generating Next Generation telephony solutions including VoIP, TDM, IMS, and SS7 applications.

The Rubix application software being acquired by Compro, which uses the Rubix Kernel and TRADE(TM) Service Creation environment, supports network deployments using the Cantata CSP (Converged Services Platform), or an IP server-based softswitch environment.
