Airmen Killed During Combat Operations
Three Airmen assigned to the 447th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Division were killed Jan. 7 by a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device while performing duties in the Baghdad area.
Additionally, one Airman was injured in the explosion.
The names of the Airmen are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification and release by the Department of Defense. Further information will be released when available.
