I/O Concepts Releases SecurITe Solution To Bring Secure Remote Access To All Companies
I/O Concepts releases secure auditing appliance designed to fit into all companies' budgets.
BELLEVUE, Wash. (EWORLDWIRE) Nov 30, 2006
I/O Concepts, Inc, a company dedicated to applying innovative software engineering to help organizations reduce costs, announces the release of the SecurITe solution which is designed to provide regulatory auditing and simplify enterprise access.
SecurITe works by providing access to enterprise computing systems such as mainframes (s390, Z series), Midrange (As 400, System I, I Series), distributed systems running Linux or Unix, Windows Servers and IBM HMCas through a single network port and address. The access is secured using several layers of encryption, which removes the need for corporations to use costly and cumbersome VPN solutions. All access to the system is validated by using the SecurITe authentication server or by interfacing to the organization's existing authentication repository - LDAP, ACF2, RACF, Active Directory and more. The result is simple, secure and auditable access to enterprise systems.
The SecurITe solution gives organizations the ability to generate regulatory compliance - SOX, HIPAA, COBIT 4.0, PCI reports for system security, data integrity, data security and system reliability on the fly through any web browser.
By installing SecurITe, organizations not only gain the ability to simplify their connectivity and increase audit-ability but also have a proven disaster recovery solution in place for remote management of data centers in the event of a disaster.
"The success of our Secure Access Management System (SAMS(TM)) solution really drove this innovation," said Bill Redinger, vice president of sales and marketing. "The underlying technology for SecurITe is used in a number of organizations for disaster recovery and compliance auditing. SecurITe gives companies of all sizes the same technology in a convenient and cost-effective solution. Our company has always focused on giving our customers industry leading ROI, and SecurITe not only continues that tradition but also helps reduce the total cost of ownership of their existing platforms."
SecurITe is available as of October 16 and pricing is dependant on configuration.
