"Life's like a play; it's not the length but the excellence of the acting that matters"

Harold St. Croix, actor from the Small community of Pointe La Haye, Newfoundland, Canada is leading in the worldwide open casting call on YouTube (www.Youtube.com/group/theinterior) with over 13,000 viewers to his video audition for the new TV series "The Interior", which is planned for production in early 2007 in the Amazon rainforest.

Casting is open to anyone who would like a role in the TV series. The series uncovers the dark side of life underneath the jungle canopy. There is sex, prostitution, gambling, money laundering, drug trade, alcohol as well as a spiritual flavor which have never been seen before through the eyes of a camera lens.

What is sure to make this program successful is the combination of a unique story and creative casting for the four lead roles in the series. Creators, Helmut Scheloppi and Geert Heetebrij stepped outside the traditional Hollywood casting as well as possibly setting a new trend for future casting calls. There will be ten actors selected for each role in the first round and St.Croix hopes to be chosen in the first cut. Selected actors will then submit a second audition tape, which will be viewed by the producers as well as voted on by the fans.

St. Croix has acted in Canadian, American and European films. He worked on movies such as "the Hurricane" with Denzel Washington and "Chicago" with Richard Gere and Renee Zelleweger. In 2003, St. Croix played fisherman/farmer, the lead role in the TV series "Quest for the Sea", which was shown all across Canada, United States, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. St. Croix said living on an island in the Quest show for 70 days without modern day conveniences; he feels the lead role of Allan suits his personality. St. Croix is aiming for his fans continued support and hopes that everyone will vote for him.
