Denise Kaminsky Interviews Actress Kimberly Amato
By Denise Kaminsky
Tonight I have with me a new inspiring actress "Kimberly Amato"

Hello Kimberly, Good to talk with you. Why don't you tell me something about yourself?
"What's there to say, I'm just me. Beyond that I'm a cancer baby who loves electronics, designing websites, writing screenplays and avoiding any and all seafood. I love watching baseball and playing all kinds of sports. Other than that I am just an easy going person who can spend twelve hours on set working my fingers to the bone or I can spend the day playing video games with my nephews."
What was your inspiration to become an actress?
"Growing up I have always had an unbridled passion for acting and writing. This is true even to this day. It's just something I have always wanted to be and I could never see myself doing anything else."
I see that you have a role in a film titled "Under the Raven's Wing" could you share with me something about your role in the film?
"Raven is a lost soul. She's gone through so much abuse and abandonment that she literally loses herself in her delusional world. She truly 100% believes in everything she says. Her relationship with the Angel and Jessie might be tumultuous at times, but in the end her love for them is true."
Is there a tenative date as to when the film be released?
"I believe it will be in the Spring of 2007"
I know that you most likely have several favorite films, which are three of your favorites?"
"Lilo & Stitch (I love Stitch),JAWS and Nightmare on Elm Street"
Share with me some of your future goals in life, including acting of course?
"Simply put, I'd like to be a working actress and be able to produce one of my original screenplays. Other than that I just want to leave the world a little bit better then when I found it."
Would you happen to have a web site where my readers will be able to find out more about you?
"Yes, I have my website www.kimberlyamato.com and along with that... I'm currently entered into a contest on www.livemansion.com "
"I made it to round 2 out of 4. Basically, people vote for me for the role of Rebecca. If I get to move to round 3 then I'll do a video audition. If I get enough votes and make it to round 4 I get to audition for the producers and the possibility of getting my SAG card."
One last question, I understand that you worked in foresnic psychology. Could you tell me about that?
"I have a master's degree in forensic psychology, I then worked in Bellevue Hospital's prison ward in NYC... and I recently turned down a job at Riker's Island to follow my dream as an actress."
Thank you so much for your time tonight Kimberly and best of luck with your acting career.
