Crossfire War - TEHRAN WATCH - South Asia Theatre: Tehran - Kabul - Islamabad/Delhi; Infiltration into Jammu - Kashmir has Tripled Over Last Year - 650 - Kupwara - Balakote - Razdan Pass
Night Watch: DELHI - According to sources in India's Union Home Ministry, there have been approximately 650 infiltration attempts by Islamic militants into the Jammu-Kashmir valley this year, more than triple the number of attempts last year which were less than 200. As crossfirewar.com reported yesterday, based on information from
www.security-risks.com, there are no indications the winter will cause a reduction in attempts. Security Risks is operated by a retired Indian Brigadier Rahul Bhonsle and is linked to Crossfire War. [

The sources of intelligence, compiled by the Union Home Ministry come from forward posts, Technical Intelligence (TECHINT), and Human Intelligence (HUMINT). They report that most of the infiltrators are Pakistani and from Afghanistan, which confirms one of my suspicions that at least some of the Afghan warlords will be entering the next major war between India/Pakistan. What Delhi has been confronting is a vanguard that has even cut the barbed wire in certain places. The most frequent avenues of infiltration, invasion, are the Kupwara region in Northern Kashmir, Balakote region further south in Jammu, just across from Pakistan's capital Islamabad, and even the Razdan Pass in the Gurez sector, very difficult terrain.
Tehran has completed preparations to have a decisive impact on the next war on the subcontinent in support of Islamabad and that is probably why they have had infiltrations increase this year, knowing it will force Delhi to attack Islamic militant bases inside Pakistan's part of Kashmir
