Real Estate Wealth Academy Launches the Real Estate Careers of Budding Millionaires

ASHBURN, Va., Nov. 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Almost everyone desires financial success, but many never attain it because they lack the strong, consistent advice of financial and success mentors. Todd Morgan, founder of Mentor for Millions (www.mentorformillions.net) and the Real Estate Wealth Academy of Washington D.C., is working hard to change the financial futures of individuals from all walks of life by providing them with the knowledge, tools, resources, and support channels they need for success in their journey to financial freedom.

"The Mentor for Millions program is helping me to achieve success quickly," says Ashby Franklin of Washington D.C. "I had read books, listened to CDs, but lacked specific direction in key areas. I'm negotiating my first deal right now and I expect to make $40,000."

Mentor for Millions compiles the "best of" collection of information that exists in real estate investing and delivers it through local, experienced professionals. Mentor for Millions teaches real estate investors through group sessions, teleconferences, one-on-one coaching, and web-based materials.

"Our guarantee is that we teach the actual, real-world strategies and provide students with the guidance they need to make their first $100,000 in real estate investing," says Todd Morgan. "We stick with our students as long as it takes for them to be successful."

Mentor for Millions is also launching local centers. The first center, The Real Estate Wealth Academy of Washington D.C. is scheduled to open in April 2007.

"Reading a book and investing in real estate, without the assistance of a mentor or coach, is just foolish. It's like riding a bike or swimming after 'reading about it.' It can be done, but without having someone to guide you, you are just asking for trouble," said Ben Benita of Warrenton, Va., who purchased 30 properties in the last four years but made some bad decisions in many of his early investments and now is left to clean up the mess.

"I picked up a few books, started going out and looking for properties, and before I knew it, I had 10 properties. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good mentor, so I bought the wrong properties, got overrun with expenses, had tenant issues, miscalculated repairs, and didn't have a clear exit strategy." Ben concludes, "I've been working with the Mentor for Millions teams to help me get more comfortable on my marketing strategies, when to do a deal and when to walk away, and how to do larger deals with less risk."

"Having a good mentor can save you tens of thousands of dollars and open your mind to new possibilities, if the mentor actually has the experience and knowledge you need," says Beth Slaughter of Williamsburg, Va., who just three years ago faced a serious financial crisis. "I was in foreclosure, had no job, had a husband who was on disability and not working, had three children with medical needs, and I needed extensive repairs done on my home. The financial crisis I was in was the lowest point in my life. When I met the Mentor for Millions team they convinced me that there was nothing they were doing that I couldn't do for myself." Soon after this, Beth started receiving instruction and coaching.

Now, nearly three years later, Beth owns her own company, Financial Resolutions, which helps people who are financially challenged to put a plan together to become financially independent. Beth started "controlling" real estate and then selling her interest in properties to other real estate investors who wanted to fix-up properties. Beth has done 30 transactions with an average profit of $7,000, and also purchased a home 20 months after the foreclosure. "I think I have proven that anything is possible when it comes to turning around your personal financial situation."

Todd Morgan is the founder of Mentor for Millions and the Real Estate Wealth Academy of Washington D.C. and is a full-time real estate investor, mentor, and wealth building consultant. His company Mentor for Millions (www.mentorformillions.net) focuses on giving investors specific instruction, support, and resources they need on how to buy real estate without significant risk. Todd and his wife Melodie, reside in Ashburn, Va. with their five children.
