John Schneider Brings His New Family Comedy Feature Film, Collier & Co., To Movie Theaters Across The U.S. To Raise Money For Communities
In November, from Alabama to Georgia, Mississippi, Texas and Nevade, John Schneider, star of TV's Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville, promotes a new feature film to raise money for the communities where his fans live.

Collier & Co., not yet rated, is a family comedy.
"My fans have done so much for me, I want to give something back - something that is great entertainment for everyone in the family and supports their communities," said Schneider.
As Bo Duke in The Dukes Of Hazzard, Jonathan Kent in Smallville, and in many other roles, Schneider has hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. Their enthusiasm was on display this year when 100,000 of them showed up for DukesFest, a two-day event celebrating the Dukes of Hazzard TV show.
Collier & Co. is the story of J.R. Collier, a former racecar driver, who finds owners of exotic sports cars and convinces them to race him for the titles to their cars. He always wins, then sells the cars to eager buyers, which is J.R.'s idea of a "legitimate" business, something he desperately needs in order to keep his family together. One of the cars he wins, however, has something in the glove box that the bad guys want back, and theyall do anything to retrieve it.
With Collier & Co., Schneider fans are raising money for fire departments, needy families, hurricane relief and medical needs in their communities. Collier & Co. is currently showing at movie theaters, and Schneider is making personal appearances in each community. He brings three of the cars from Collier & Co. with him for display to the crowds.
In the movie, one of the most popular stunts involves an orange 1969 Dodge Charger named Traveller - "After the horse of the even more legendary General Robert E. Lee," says J.R. - jumping over a river to escape the bad guys.
"This is very personal," Schneider said, "almost like a home movie. It's a comedy that the entire family can enjoy, and that's very important to me and my fans."
He wrote the script many years ago while starring in TV's Dukes Of Hazzard. Unlike a typical Hollywood movie, Schneider produced Collier & Co. this year on his own, paying for it out of his own pocket.
"Hollywood doesn't have a lot of respect for Dukes of Hazzard fans, so I had to make this movie myself," said Schneider. He wrote, produced, directed and stars in Collier & Co.
Collier & Co. played in Memphis, Tennessee on October 27 and in Montgomery, Alabama on November 1. It is scheduled for:
