CALGARY, ALBERTA - (CCNMatthews - Oct. 30, 2006) - WestJet (TSX:WJA) commenced its expanded winter non-stop service to the U.S. and the Caribbean. New non-stop flights will be offered to Nassau, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix and Palm Springs from select Canadian cities.

Toronto to Nassau non-stop three times a week starting November 5, 2006
Toronto to West Palm Beach non-stop three times a week starting October 30,

Montreal to Tampa non-stop three times a week starting October 29, 2006
Ottawa to Tampa non-stop three times a week starting October 29, 2006
Ottawa to Orlando non-stop four times a week starting November 3, 2006
Edmonton to Phoenix non-stop four times a week staring October 30, 2006
Edmonton to Palm Springs non-stop three times a week starting October 29,
2006
Halifax to Orlando non-stop once a week starting February 14, 2007

Winter schedule enhancements also include increases in frequency from select Canadian cites to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Palm Springs and Fort Myers including new daily non-stop routes to Honolulu and Maui.
