OTTAWA, ONTARIO - (CCNMatthews - Oct. 27, 2006) - In celebration of Canadian Children's Book Week, Library and Archives Canada in collaboration with Communication-Jeunesse is pleased to present:

JEUX DE MOTS/JEUX DE MAINS

Sunday, October 29, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Library and Archives Canada, 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa

A workshop led by Annie Groovie, author and illustrator, invites children from ages 7 to 10 to have fun with words and their musicality, their poetry, and even to make up new meanings! Admission is free, but spaces are limited, register now at 613-992-2618.

The workshop will be presented in French.

Annie Groovie was born in 1970 in Trois-Rivieres. She is the author and illustrator of the children's book series Rigolons avec Leon. This humorous series plays on words and ideas that familiarize children with aspects of our culture. To find out more about Annie Groovie see : www.cyberleon.ca
