Dallas Infertility Center Celebrates First IVF Babies

DALLAS, Texas - Oct. 27 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- The Sher Institute for Reproductive Medicine(SM) in Dallas (SIRM(TM)-Dallas) celebrated a milestone earlier this month as the first babies conceived through In Vitro Fertilization in its office were born. On October 2rd, Dallas residents Ellen and Barry Ford welcomed Jake and Emma - twins conceived with the help of Dr. Walid Saleh at SIRM-Dallas.

The Fords were part of the first group of patients to undergo IVF at SIRM-Dallas. After struggling for several years to conceive and going through a variety of treatments with other physicians, they met Dr. Saleh at an infertility and adoption conference in Houston. The Fords learned that SIRM-Dallas was opening its office at Medical City Hospital the following month and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Saleh in Dallas, where they made the decision to undergo IVF.
