Green, Libertarian to Battle It Out Over Hot Immigration Issue

Second California Gubernatorial debate set Thursday in Davis; Green, Libertarian to battle it out over hot immigration issue

DAVIS, California - The second face-to-face meeting between gubernatorial candidates will be held in Davis, just south of Sacramento Thursday, focusing entirely on the controversial question of immigration.

In terms of voter value, the debate is expected to easily outdistance that of the recent, lackluster Phil Angelides/Arnold Schwarzenegger meeting encounter.

Gubernatorial candidates Peter Miguel Camejo of the Green Party and Art Oliver of the Libertarian Party will square off in the major debate THURSDAY, at 7 p.m. at the Univ. of California, Davis Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) Ballroom.

The debate is sponsored by ASUCD, the Entertainment Council, Aggie Pack & KDVS.
