SportsCarHomepage Has Porsche Sponsors Racing to the Finish Line

  Share With Friends

CHICAGO, Ill. - Oct. 17 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Auto Racing is an expensive endeavor and SportsCarHomepage.com has designed a way to lessen the cost while involving people with a passion for car racing through an exciting racing campaign. SportsCarHomepage.com is the brainchild of Jason Carter, a college-educated professional and information technology consultant during the week, and racecar driver most other times.

Most race drivers pursue large sponsorship commitments from a small pool of corporate entities. SportsCarHomepage.com is designed to do the exact opposite - pursue small sponsorships from a large community.

"This is a grass-roots movement with the collective participation of people from around the world," Carter explained. "The goal is to sell 10,000 racecar sponsorships for $100 each."

Carter will be racing the Porsche GT3 Cup Car in the 2007 and 2008 American LeMans Series - IMSA GT3 Cup; his race number is 95.

According to Carter, sponsors will receive maximum exposure for a minimum $100 investment. Approximately 100,000 fans attend these races eight times per year over a two-year period, which totals exposure to at least 1,600,000 fans.

The minimum sponsorship size is 1.2 inches x 1.2 inches and will be branded on the exterior of the Porsche GT3 Cup Car; sponsorships are available to businesses, families and individuals. There is no limit to the amount of sponsorships purchased, provided space is available.

Current sponsors include Farm Aid, United Way, the American Heart Association and many more.

In addition to offering sponsors the opportunity to join an exciting racing campaign, Carter's racing efforts for the IMSA GT3-Cup (ALMS/Porsche Series) will also include his charitable work to enable and enrich the lives of disabled children and adults throughout the country.

"SportsCarHomepage.com Charity Track Days" are designed to expose disabled children and adults to the world of motor sports and auto racing.

"I am excited about the opportunity to enable, motivate, and touch the lives of people through this amazing sport," Carter said. "I'm planning at least one event at each American LeMans Race in 2007 and 2008."

Carter guarantees that the cup car will race for two years and that SportsCarHomepage.com will remain active during that time. Video Blogs will keep sponsors current and racing schedules will be posted.
