Crossfire War - Iran Supreme Leader Khamenei Attacks UNIFIL in Lebanon

By Willard Payne

Crossfire War - TEHRAN WATCH - Mediterranean Theatre: Tehran - Beirut - Damascus/Rome - Cairo - Jerusalem; Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei Attacks United Nations Forces at Friday Prayers - "Israeli Arrogance" - "West's Colonialism" - "The War isn't Finished"

Night Watch: TEHRAN - AKI reports that at Friday prayers, Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attacked the United Nations forces by saying during his sermon, "One of the projects of the Americans, Zionists and their Allies, is to come to Lebanon under the United Nations, offcially to defend the Lebanese from the attacks of foreign forces and then change the cards on the table and fight our Hezbollah brothers. The war isn't finished and the losers will certainly not remain idle. These evil forces are already hard at work to remedy their defeat and Islamic nations need to remain vigil and ready to react with determination against any other potential attack." [AKI]

The timing of Khamenei's sermon is significant. Hezbollah must now be ready to start the next wave of fighting with Damascus - Tehran joining. It is not just the United Nations (European) forces on the ground that will be attacked, but also their naval units at sea and the support bases along the Mediterranean.
