Crossfire War - Night Action in Kashmir Ongoing - India Rushes Reinforcements

Night Watch: POONCH DISTRICT - Acting on information that Islamic militants were in the Chamraid-Andarwali Dhoka area of the Poonch district of Kashmir State, Indian army units of the 25 Rashtriya Rifles and 16 RR attacked a hideout of the Islamic group Lashkar-e-Toiba (Let). The action began at night and as of this writing it was still continuing to the point where India has rushed reinforcements to the area. So far reports have said five Islamic militants have been killed and four Indian soldiers including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO). [

I am beginning to wonder how Indian security forces receive their intelligence information as to where militant hideouts are. Time and time again whenever Indian forces arrive it seems the militants are waiting for them. It's possible agents of Islamic liberation units are sending the information. The military demarcation Line of Control (LoC) runs right through the Poonch district, just 50 miles west of Srinagar. Since the action is ongoing this could be the one where Delhi decides to use its "hot pursuit" policy and follow the Islamic fighters into Pakistan's part of Kashmir. Islamabad has stated if that ever happens they will be forced to respond.
Lashkar-e-Toiba is not only one of the major Islamic groups fighting India's occupation of Jammu-Kashmir but they are the unit Delhi believes was mostly responsible for the Mumbai bombings in July that killed nearly 200 people. That could add more incentive to Delhi's decision to pursue them into Pakistan fully aware that it will lead to the fourth war with Islamabad. Delhi has just completed its investigation into the July bombings and have stated publicly they have definitive proof that Islamabad was involved in the terror attacks.
