Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd.: Downtime Planned at Bemidji, Minnesota OSB Plant
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - (CCNMatthews - Oct. 3, 2006) - Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. ("Ainsworth") (TSX:ANS) announced that it plans to curtail production at the company's oriented strand board (OSB) facility in Bemidji, Minnesota from October 16 to October 29, 2006 to perform scheduled maintenance activities.
The Bemidji plant has an annual production capacity of approximately 350 million square feet (3/8" basis).
