CALGARY, ALBERTA - (CCNMatthews - Sept. 28, 2006) - Today WestJet Vacations announced new products, new destinations including its first international city and a separate website for travel agent bookings.

WestJet Vacations, launched in June, now offers car rentals, attractions, insurance and a dedicated travel agent website. These features will add additional revenue channels for the company as it estimates to serve more than 100,000 guests in the coming year. New destinations launched by WestJet and available through WestJet Vacations include West Palm Beach, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas.

"When we originally announced WestJet Vacations, with air and hotel, we were pleased to see the number of bookings we received in such a short time," commented Brenda Trockstad, General Manager WestJet Vacations. "With our new features, we are able to offer guests more comprehensive and customized packages. The addition of a travel agent website is sure to realize even more growth for this already profitable company."

By leveraging WestJet's scheduled network, WestJet Vacations offers flexible travel dates, two to five star accommodations and a comprehensive lineup of products and services that truly allow a guest to customize a vacation package to their needs and budget. WestJet Vacations boasts a domestic product that covers Canada from coast to coast.

Partners include Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Avis Rent A Car, Budget, RBC Insurance and hotel partners such as Starwood Hotels, Delta Hotels and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. Future scheduled enhancements include ski products, golf tee-time bookings, Las Vegas shows, airport to hotel transfers and additional tours and activities.

Vacation packages can be booked online at westjetvacations.com, by calling 1-877-737-7001 at no extra service charge or through a travel agent.

WestJet Vacations Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of WestJet Airlines Ltd., specializes in custom-made vacation packages that leverage WestJet's existing scheduled network to 35 cities across North America and the Caribbean.

Marking its tenth anniversary this year, WestJet is Canada's leading low-fare airline. Named Canada's most respected corporation for customer service in 2005, WestJet pioneered low-cost high-value flying in Canada. With increased legroom and leather seats on its modern fleet of Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft, and live seatback television provided by Bell ExpressVu on the majority of its fleet, WestJet strives to be the number one choice for travellers.
