Revelation Software releases Universal Driver Heavy (UDH)

London, UK. - 26th September 2006. Revelation Software is proud to announce the release of Universal Driver Heavy (UDH) release 3.1 as an extension of their comprehensive network product suite. This suite of products is designed to help scale Revelation based database systems on Windows, Linux and Novell networks, and also maintain maximum performance levels right across the business.

"The Universal Driver Heavy is Revelation's premium network product, for Windows-based platforms only at this time, and features all of the suites standard features." explains Martyn Phillips, Business Development Manager of Revelation Software Limited. "The product is also designed, through a dedicated database specific mirroring technology, to reduce system downtime resulting from hardware, network and other IT related failures to an absolute minimum. This benefits Revelation's clients by maximising their user's productivity right across the business and also by reducing the workload and pressures of the IT technical staff."

In addition, the product provides the IT department with the opportunity to take 'reliable point-in-time backups' and in doing so remove many of the worries associated with open file backup issues and other common backup concerns for 24x7 use systems.

"UDH ensures the integrity of your application and your data." said Kevin Ruane, IT Director of Revelation Software. "We have designed UDH for the business where downtime is intolerable."
