On the campus of University of North Carolina Greensboro, the Elliot University Center auditorium becomes the festival screening location for this year's "ULFF".
The festival features close to 30 submitted films from filmmakers and production studios from around the country. In addition, there will be a reloading of past year's submissions.
The festival runs from September 15th to 17th 2006.
Filmmakers were under strict instructions to "Write, Direct, Shoot, Edit and Screen ... by any means necessary."
And they have done so.
Emancipation Revelation/Revolution was selected to be featured with a panel discussion to follow. For more information and the schedule of events see the website http://www.ulff.org.
The organizers note that the content is solely for entertainment purposes. It is not governed by the FCC, and the films showcased are raw, original form and may contain explicit language or sexual content.
Individual Screenings at the EUC Auditorium and Jarrell Lecture Hall on UNCG campus can be purchased through the UNCG Box Office. Call (336) 334-4849. Doors open between 10 to 15 mintues before each screening block, which generally lasts around two hours.
