Danware Signs New Partnership in Spain

  Share With Friends

Danware has just signed a partnership agreement with the Spanish IT firm Iberforce Consulting. The new partner will handle direct sales of Danware's NetOp products on the rapidly growing Spanish IT market.

Copenhagen, 6 September 2006 - The agreement with the new Spanish partner strengthens Danware's position in a country, where the IT sector is currently in rapid growth.

"It is very gratifying to be stronger represented in Spain, which at the moment is Europe's biggest growth market in IT. The agreement with Iberforce Consulting is an important step in our ambitious objective of increasing sales and the number of NetOp® partners around the world. Iberforce Consulting has just the right competences and relations to boost sales, and we thus have positive expectations for the partnership," says CEO Peter Grøndahl, Danware.

Iberforce Consulting was founded in 2004 and sells both IT and Telco products. The company focuses on large accounts and targets key market segments: Banks, insurances, telco and transport. Among its customers are companies like BBVA Bank, Iberia Airlines and Telefonica.

"The demand for advanced IT solutions is growing tremendously at present, partly because many governmental organizations are beginning to invest in IT. NetOp products are among the absolute best on the market for IT remote control, and we are therefore very pleased to be able to add NetOp to our portfolio," says CEO Mostafa Ayat, Iberforce Consulting.

With the new agreement Iberforce Consulting is ready to offer all of Danware's NetOp products in the Remote Support, Education and Security lines.

Represented at Spain's largest IT trade show
Over the past couple of years Danware has focused on southern Europe:

"Southern Europe is a growth market for IT - especially software. To increase NetOp® products' visibility in the region, we took part in last year's SIMO Show in Spain, Europe's second largest IT event with over 300,000 visitors. This year we will repeat that success when the show opens its doors in November. It will undoubtedly spin off more interesting relationships and leads, so it is very positive to have developed our Spanish sales channel," says Regional Manager Peter Jacques Kristensen, Danware.

The partnership with Iberforce Consulting comes just weeks after Danware entered into an agreement with a new Italian partner. Danware is furthermore going full speed in establishing subsidiaries to handle distribution of the NetOp lines in England and Germany. The new affiliates are expected to open in October this year.
