Appgen Custom Suite 64-Bit Intel Dual Core Platform Port Completed
Appgen Runtime and Database Now Optimized for High-Speed Computing Platforms
InsynQ, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: INSN), a premier
provider of application hosting services, online accounting solutions and
services, and owners of Appgen Business Software, announced today that a
64-bit Intel processor platform port has been completed and 64-bit Runtime
systems will begin shipping immediately. The core development work and
initial testing of the platform port was performed by Appgen Platinum
Partner Magstar, Inc., located in Toronto.
According to Joanie Mann, Executive Vice President of InsynQ, "The Intel
64-bit processors can manipulate data capacities far greater than the
32-bit platforms. Now, Appgen software is able to fully address these
extreme data management and high-speed transaction processing environments.
It is something that our larger customers require, as their systems have
grown in size and sophistication."
The new 64-bit software will increase system performance and agility, and
provides a basis for those customers whose systems have grown beyond the
limitations imposed by 32-bit systems. Ron Ross, President of Magstar,
Inc., says, "As our customers grow and their need for increases in
performance and the ability to handle larger data capacities becomes
apparent, we can easily upgrade them with this new 64-bit release. This is
allowing us to continue servicing our important customers, many of whom
we've been supporting for over 20 years with the same product line. This is
truly a testament to the flexibility and adaptability of Appgen over the
past three decades."
Errol Allahverdi, Appgen's Development Manager, states, "The 64-bit version
of Appgen keeps us on the leading edge of providing business software
solutions for companies of all sizes, allowing our users to grow and expand
without having to replace any software, learn any new products, retrain
personnel, or re-key valuable data. Appgen applications have always been
high-performance, but this new edition really takes it up a notch."
