Shannon Gilbert Named Director of Sales and Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, Opening Spring 2007

Shannon D. Gilbert, a hospitality sales
executive with more than a dozen years of experience with The Ritz-Carlton
Hotel Company, L.L.C., has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for
The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, a 202-room luxury hotel in the heart of the
downtown business district. Scheduled to open in spring 2007, the hotel is
in the Denver Place Tower on the first 14 floors of the building at 1881
Curtis Street.

Gilbert comes to her new position at the third Ritz-Carlton location in
Colorado (Bachelor Gulch and Aspen) from the award-winning Ritz-Carlton,
Laguna Niguel where she was Director of Group Sales since 2004. Prior to
that position, Gilbert held the title of Associate Director of Sales at The
Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay on California's Pacific coastline. She also
worked as Director of Northwest Sales for La Quinta Resort & Club and as
National Sales Manager for The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage, both in
Southern California. At Rancho Mirage, Gilbert was named 1998 Leader of
the Quarter.
A graduate of The Palm Desert School of Business Administration, Gilbert
has attended numerous sales and training educational classes and programs
sponsored by The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. "We are very pleased to have
