Available nationwide at a suggested list price of $2,499, the HDTV-Ready MX-5020HPM incorporates a high-performance Japanese panel to deliver video quality rivaling products from high-end Japanese manufacturers. To ensure the highest quality interface between video components, the MX-5020HPM features dual HDMI inputs with HDCP to support the high-performance video interface integrated into a growing number of video components including HDTV cable boxes, DVD players and streaming media adapters.

The MX-5020HPM boasts a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, an impressive contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and a brightness level of 1200 cd/m2. The new 50-inch plasma display guarantees zero bright pixels, incorporates MotionDSC(r) II Video Processor and digital noise reduction for rich and natural clarity. In addition to Preset Picture Settings, Image Shift for burn-in protection and Auto Video Detection/Synchronization, the Maxent plasma TV features an RS-232 port for remote control, advanced audio processing, integrated bottom-mounted speakers, and a wide variety of connectivity options including HDMI with HDCP, RGB input, composite/S-video inputs, SD/HD component video inputs, discrete audio inputs, and audio and subwoofer outputs.
