View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VYST), a leading
homeland defense solutions provider, has issued the year to date review of
2006.
The SecureScan is fast becoming the choice of concealed weapons detection
systems across the country. In the last eight months, View Systems has
placed multiple units in New York, Washington DC, Maryland, Georgia and
California. These multiple units include correctional facilities, probation
offices, schools, courthouses and office buildings.
Important Accomplishments this Year to Date:
-- Acquired nuclear sensing technology with applications including
customs and border inspection, border security, detection of radiological
material and "dirty bombs," radiation monitoring in nuclear power plants
and reactor facilities, and use by rapid response teams.
-- Installed a SecureScan III with Biometrics at a Middle Eastern Embassy
in Washington, D.C.
-- Added dealers and resellers to cover the southwest region including
Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona.
-- Introduced SecureScan III to Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Washington
D.C. Departments of Correction.
-- Added visitor label and badge applications to the SecureScan III.
-- Interfaced drivers license and passport scanner with SecureScan III.
-- Launched precision optical biometric fingerprint terminal and lobby
visitor management systems with the SecureScan III.
-- Introduced SecureScan III's network feature for state correctional
facility communication. This will allow point of entry information
including positive identity, biometrics, time and location to be shared
between facilities statewide.
