AAA Texas Opens Doors to Texas Select Lloyds Homeowner Policyholders

Policyholders of Texas Select Lloyds, Texas' 6th
largest home insurer, whose policies will be cancelled effective August
24th by the Texas Department of Insurance as part of its regulatory
liquidation, are invited to immediately apply for homeowners insurance
through AAA Texas.
"We have 25 district offices in Texas with service representatives waiting
to assist Texas Select policyholders to prevent them from being stranded
without coverage on their most important asset -- their home," said Vic
Ganino, Vice President of Insurance. "We reduced homeowners' rates by an
average 8.5% last year in Texas and are very competitive with other home
insurers in the state."
Through AAA Texas, homeowners have access to policies that cover not only
their home but attached structures like garages and carports. The policies
extend to detached garages, tool sheds, fences, pools and many other
structures too -- and additional coverage is included for landscape items
such as trees and shrubs and the cost of removing debris after a covered
loss.
AAA Texas affiliated insurers are all rated "A+ Superior" for financial
stability by A.M. Best, the highly respected insurance industry analyst.
AAA Texas, a member of the American Automobile Association federation of
motor clubs, has been serving Texans since 1902. Today, more than a
million AAA Texas' members benefit by the organization's roadside
assistance service, travel agency, financial products, automotive pricing,
buying and financing, trip planning services, and traffic safety programs.
Information about these products and services is available on AAA Texas'
