EYI Announces Ultimate ME2 Receives EPA Registration

BURNABY, British Columbia, Aug. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- EYI Industries Inc. ("EYI") , , a marketer of products that promote well-being and a healthy lifestyle, is pleased to announce that we have received the confirmation letter issued to CMM Energy Development, LLC, an affiliate of Mach 3 Technologies Group, LLC, from the United States Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") confirming that Ultimate ME2 and Ultimate ME2 Bulk Fuel Additive have been issued EPA registration numbers. Ultimate ME2 and Ultimate ME2 Bulk Fuel Additive's EPA numbers are 20432001. The issuance of this news release in no way implies that the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the United States government endorses, certifies or approves Ultimate ME2 and Ultimate ME2 Bulk Fuel Additive in any way.

Dori O'Neill, COO, states, "Receiving the notification of the successful EPA registration of the Ultimate ME2 and Ultimate ME2 Bulk Fuel Additive is an important first step in our due diligence process. The deciding factor as to whether we will proceed to market the Ultimate ME2 products will be the efficacy testing reports. We have been informed that these definitive reports should be completed soon. Upon receipt of conclusive test results that confirm the claims of the developer, that the Ultimate ME2 products improve gas mileage and reduces exhaust emissions, it is our intention to proceed with the acquisition and marketing of the Ultimate ME2 product line."
