Superior Canadian Resources Inc.: Montana Engineering Report Completed

Superior Canadian Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: CAD), on behalf of its wholly owned subsidiary Koro Energy Inc., is pleased to announce today that the Independent Engineering Report prepared in accordance with NI 51-101 guidelines by DeGolyer and MacNaughton Canada Limited - Calgary office - has been completed as of June 30, 2006. The Engineering Report has been submitted to the TSX for regulatory due diligence and approval.

Upon receiving TSX-Exchange approval, Koro Energy Inc. will have a 25% working interest in a 3,200 acre oil and gas property in South Central Montana.

Reserve highlights from the DeGolyer Report are total proven and probable net reserves of 325,922 barrels of oil and 487 MMcf of gas. The net present value discounted at 10% is $ 6,175,000 US.

Currently the natural gas sales line is being constructed from the field to a NorthWestern Energy Transmission Line and the two gas wells that the company has an interest in have been tied into processing facilities.

Koro is submitting a well license application to the Montana Oil and Gas Conservation Board to drill its own 100% working interest natural gas well prospect and expects approval shortly with an anticipated spud date prior to the end of October pending rig availability.

The Company has entered into a Letter of Intent with IBK Capital Corp. of Toronto to assist in arranging a non-brokered private placement financing for up to $ 2.5 million of units of common shares and warrants at an anticipated price of $ 0.30 per common share.
