Secretary of Energy Highlights One-Year Anniversary of the Energy Policy Act
On Wednesday, August 2, 2006, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary
Samuel W. Bodman will visit a wind turbine manufacturing plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to celebrate the anniversary of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. Secretary Bodman is expected to discuss the importance of renewable energy sources as a cornerstone of the U.S energy strategy - outlined in the Energy Policy Act of 2005, America's first comprehensive energy legislation in over a decade.
