TNT Rides Valpak(R) to the Winners Circle

NASCAR, one of the nation's fastest growing
spectator sports, and broadcast partner Turner Network Television (TNT) are
once again driving with Valpak as the 2006 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series heats
up on the top-rated cable network.
During the month of August, 45 million homes will receive their Valpak
offers in a specially designed envelope that will rev fans up for the
pivotal NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series "Race to the Chase." In addition to the
savings they'll find in the envelope, fans will also have a chance to win
VIP tickets to a select NASCAR race, including a behind the scenes look at
the NASCAR event.
Promotional spots on TNT and in-race announcements will alert viewers that
their familiar blue Valpak envelopes have something very special in store
for them. When Valpak arrives in homes, recipients will be reminded to
tune into TNT's NASCAR coverage and register to win the VIP getaway or a
$1,000 cash prize.
This is the sixth time TNT has partnered with Valpak and the fourth
consecutive year TNT has promoted NASCAR with a Valpak promotion.
To reach their target audience, TNT looks to Valpak to support their
marketing efforts.
Kevin McMahon, senior manager, marketing and programming, Turner Sports,
noted that, "The Valpak® promotion provides TNT with a powerful
communication vehicle for us to promote to our core NASCAR audience. The
significant impressions generated by our presence on Valpak® envelopes
will translate to a greater awareness of our partnership with NASCAR, and
provide consumers with a relevant promotional opportunity."
