Cleco Corp. Announces Webcast of 2006 Second-Quarter Results

Cleco Corp. (NYSE: CNL) will host its 2006 second-quarter earnings conference call at 11 a.m. Eastern Time (10 a.m. Central Time) on Friday, Aug. 4, 2006. A live webcast of the call can be accessed through the company's Web site at www.cleco.com, by selecting "For Investors," and then "Cleco Corporation Second-Quarter Earnings Conference Call."

The call will follow distribution of the company's 2006 second-quarter earnings news release after the market closes on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006. Cleco President and CEO Mike Madison and Senior Vice President and CFO Kathleen Nolen will host the conference call. A replay will be available on Cleco's Web site for 12 months.
